Kraka – the female main character from the Tale of Regnar Lodbrog. She is a genuine beauty with a floor-length silky hair. During a trip to Norway, Regnar Lodbrog sees Kraka who is both beautiful and wise. She proves that when asked by Regnar to come to him ”neither dressed nor naked, neither full nor hungry, neither alone nor in the company of another human being”. Kraka wraps herself in a fish net, takes a bite of an onion, and is accompanied by her dog. Later, she reveals her true identity to Regnar; she is in fact the daughter of Sigurd Fafnersbane and Brynhild and her real name is Aslaug.
