Ydalir – the Asgård home of Ull; the Norse god of hunting. Ydalir means ”Valley of Yew” or ”Valley of Bows”. The name suggesting that yew tree is especially suitable for bows. Ull is a skilled archer and skier; untouchable and unbeatable. His is goodlooking, carries himself with the pride of a warrior, strong in single combat. Hence, Ull is the deity of duels, hunting and winter sports (skiing and skating).
